The Institute has published a study examining how generous Canadians have been, based on the 2019 tax year. The total percentage of Canadians donating to charity has fallen to 19 per cent from 25.5 per cent over the last 20 years.
While in-person and traditional ways of giving are on a decline, the industry has seen an upward trend in online giving and recurring donations. With digitalization becoming the new normal, we are proud that our platform compliments these trends and are excited for what the future holds.
